Sport – is an inseparable part of my life for many years. I played professional sports in my youth: homework done during breaks, dinners were on the go, and after classes I immediately hurried to the gym. There were injuries, moments when you learn to endure pain. For example, when you have to go to a game with a frozen knee, because you are the team captain and you can’t do it otherwise – the team and the overall result depends on you. In professional sports, health is always in the background, and foreground is the result in a short time. On the other hand, this is how the character is laid and tempered, so you learn responsibility, endurance, patience, learn to set goals and achieve them.

Sometimes, the final goals along the way can be modified, but persistence and everyday work will necessarily bring the desired result.

Over the years, you realize that everything can be achieved by training, the main thing to remember – is that by devoting time to it every day, you go forward. I think, everyone who has been involved in sports for a long time, will share with me the idea that after you start – you can no longer stop. Your body got used to stress and an abrupt termination immediately makes itself felt. The body says to you: “Well, of course, we worked here, worked there, and that`s all?”. And knocks on you from all sides.

It’s like in a team, and in your personal life – if you have confidence, you become one unit with your partner and everything turns out.

So, after a certain break, I returned to the sport. First, I returned in volleyball, and then there was a lot of things: swimming, pilates, squash, dancing, etc. I began to think about a certain balance of body, mind, work, personal life, hobby more often. I wanted to come to the state when everything is for my pleasure. And I remembered that my childhood dream was to ride a horse. Actually, I closed my eyes and imagined how I am galloping on a horse. That’s how horse riding came in my life. There is something unusual in this kind of sport: the feeling of a great friend who feels you – your mood, desire for movement, confidence. Horses can read you at a distance, and if you do not trust a great friend, he knows about it. It’s like in a team, and in your personal life – if you have confidence, you become one unit with your partner and everything turns out. A small body movement and the power of thought leads to the right movement and gives the result, speed and sensation of flight.

It seems to me that in yoga everyone can find everything that he wants.

I always looked for options and ways to figure out how the world works. It was always interesting to read and learn how to work with yourself, what can be developed and improved. Once, when I was on Bali and tried yoga classes – I liked it, and after that there were many approaches to yoga. Three years engaged in pilates. After some time, I was advised to do hatha yoga. And now, almost two years as yoga came into my life. It seems to me that in yoga everyone can find everything that he wants: the excellent shape for body, the feeling of every part of himself, philosophy, or inner silence. And even the state of inner peace and warmth that everyone dreams about. It is important to say about meditation. Competitiveness is inherent in sport and this is inherent in our whole our life, but when you get a taste of meditation – then you find your inner peace and quiet.

 

You change the attitude to everything and everything changes aroud. That is my expirience.

Earlier, I measured my efficiency at a crazy pace, with a large number of meetings, calls, and movements. There was the idea in my head, that if it’s quickly and a lot – it is effective. Now I understand that from a quiet state of mind, another understanding of efficiency appears, you have a broader picture of what is happening, more options, more creativity, and this makes it possible to make decisions, based on a different perception of events. Life – is meditation and how the concept of harmony is felt and revealed to me now is completely different than I understood it before.

But one thing I know for sure: our environment affects us, and we affect it, and this concerns not only friends, but also the team. In this incredible number of tasks and a whirlwind of events, I am glad that people not only find time for sports, but also devote themselves to this entirely. Inside the company, we constantly try out new activities and leave in those we like. For example, our volleyball tournaments are loved not only by the company’s employees, but also by our clients. We often gather for trainings ourselves, and our partners often call us. The girls start working morning with yoga, the boys are engaged in horizontal bars in the breaks, together we have been standing in the plank for almost a year. And most recently, we have formed a whole community of runners. In the evenings, the guys drive from the office to Obolonskaya Embankment, run together and inspire each other for new records. On this Sunday, they demonstrated real strength of spirit and endurance by participating in the Nova Poshta Kyiv Half Marathon. They ran own distance, which for meant something for each: 5, 6, 10 or 21 km. And each of them set their personal record: endurance, time or speed. And together they took the third place in the corporate run of the IT sector.

Strength and superiority can be achieved in everything – the main thing is to determine why you need to do it. It is not necessary to be a professional in order to practice some kind of sport – the main thing is to find the activity that you like. And then find like-minded people, who will support you in your choice and maybe even start doing it with you. And every day to find time and energy, even when it seems that you are at the end of it. I chose what I like and in fact, now everything is very beautiful and everything is in its place: from events to the people in my life.
